Ok guys, what do you think is going to far at a biker campground that has no children. Public sex, complete nudity, vulgar language, so what is to far? |

We believe in limiting the Public sex until after dark... ;-) Nudity is a given at Sturgis campgrounds.
Excess late-night noise or anything that disturbs the peace enough to make anyone consider a call to the Sheriff is "too far". |

I started going to Sturgis in the mid 70s...once you've seen the cucumber thing, nothin's too far! LOL |

I personally think doing something to someone against their will is too far. As far as anything else goes, well, it can be out of my field of view with the turn of my head. Loud bikes, music, people, nudity and maybe some public sex can be expected. Come on, it's a biker event, not an cub scout slumber party. You want the editted version of Sturgis, stay home and watch it on the travel channel. |

when attending an adult-themed activity (like sturgis or any bike event) the limits are way different than what we had last year at the spoke. seeing adolescents wandering around either the pool or the saloon at night was a bit un-nerving. so as long as all are consenting adults ,like n2thecraft said, "i can always turn my head". if you want the watered down version of sturgis save your money and watch "cops" or the travel channel. |

Too far in my opinion is: ugly fat chicks gettin naked, children on the campground, warm flat beer, stealing, causing harm. Otherwise, anything goes!!! PARTY!!! |

don't get me wrong, there's plenty I don't wanna see, however, I wont try to dictate how others should act at a biker event on account of me. I mean, come on, if I don't agree with the suroundings, I can easily move on,,, |

As long as everyone is consenting and the minors are not present then let the party roll. If a lady wants to do a 10 man gangbang on a table then fine, I'll watch until I've had enough and then either leave or join in. If I don't want to see that I will go elsewhere and allow her to have her fun as she wants it. It's her vacation too. I have choices to spend my time and if I don't like something I can move along - so can you. Out of respect I would say loud pipes should be kept at low throttle between midnight and 6am. It all boils down to the Golden Rule, Do Onto Others as you would have done to yourself. It is not "too far" as long as the people involved are doing what they came to do and not forcing anything on others. I say anything goes as long as the bystanders have an option - can't force them to stay for something they do not want.
What I do consider to be "too far" is being told by some $6 an hour jerk rent a cop that my wife can't show her nipples. It's an adult biker party so you better be ready for some skin people. If that does not sound good to you perhaps I can recommend Disney World for your vacation, there's one on each coast!!
Hell, I'll even take fat chicks nudity - I don't have to look you know. |

Its totally supposed to be about fun. Don't like it? If its not breaking the law out in public then as we say in the Navy "How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up" Don't bring your kids, it just messes up everybody's vibe and puts a dash of social responsibility on the moment, and thats what we are getting away for.... as mowdoc says, "its her vacation to" So as they say in the royal navy..... Keep Calm and Carry On...... |

I agree with the others. Do what ever you want have fun but don't be rude. Peoples mouths cause more trouble than actions.
Do whatever you want have fun but keep your opinions and your comments to yourself. Nothing worse than having to listen to some drunk running their mouth about someone.
If you don't like what you see or if you like what you see I don't want to hear about it.
